That is the one singular thing that everyone is looking for in an artist: your AUTHENTICITY no matter what. No one is looking for you to be logical or appropriate. No one is looking for an actor who’s learned XYZ method.
The industry is looking for you to be 100% alive, vulnerable, and honest.
That life force is going to make you book. What impacts an audience is how much of your presence they see. They’re not moved by your skill or technique. And neither are you.
If your instrument is completely free and instinctive, there’s no one else that can do what you can do. There’s no competition because you’re standing in your uniqueness. You have to do that work to free up your instrument. You’ve got to invest time and resources into YOU.
