Ready to ditch the victim and be empowered?

If you only master one thing as an actor, what would it be?

If you know the work I do with actors already, you know that it's all about un-learning and restoring and resetting your original, instinctive instrument, so today's topic of mastery may seem contradictory at first, but just wait and you'll see... ;)

When I start working with actors, I often hear how overwhelmed they are with all the things they have to do. Perhaps you can relate.

You have to learn lines audition after audition, and then you're expected to deliver in the room, which can feel like a lot of pressure. You’re told to train your instrument, so you take a lot of classes in what seems like an endless list of techniques and teachers. There's a lot of competition and rejection to deal with, and so the industry can appear to be one-sided or unfair when you see the same actors always booking. On top of it all, you need to pay your bills, so you may even have a day job too.

Whew, that's a lot, guys.

I understand why you feel stressed out and disappointed that you're not seeing the results you expected when you first began acting. This is a challenging industry, and you're managing everything by yourself.

But here's what I see overwhelmed actors do to handle this. They either:

  1. Push through no matter what, powering through their to-do list to check everything off.

  2. Blame some external source, like the industry, other actors, the circumstances, the location, the time of year, the list goes on and on...

  3. Resign to this just being the way the industry is and always will be, so therefore, it's justified to complain about it.

None of these options work, but there is ONE thing you can do that will.

When you watch my free training, you’ll learn…

  1. The ONLY thing you need to master as an actor, and you will hate it at first, by the way.

  2. To shift from a victim mentality into action.

  3. How to restore and connect with the power available to you once you master this.

Watch the training below, and you will understand how this single principle can give you all the power you need to impact what's happening to you in any experience you find yourself in.

After you watch the training, I’d love to hear from you. Are you willing to be responsible for how you act? Can you make the shift from being a victim?  Let me know what actions you are going to take to get the results you want, by posting in our private Facebook Group.
