WHAT 

For directors: a hands on approach to understanding, inspiring, opening and directing actors.

For actors: a hands on approach to finding oneself in the material, to relate to the director, to make diverse propositions while remaining open to direction.

 

 

WHY

On a set, everyone has a responsibility...and an ego. Too often, stress and a lack of time implies we forget we are making the same film and that we need to look in the same direction. Miscommunication leads to frequent conflict, as actor and director slowly drift apart.

 

HOW 

The directors bring their own ( but not necessarily) scenes to explore with actors. 

Day 1- casting

Day 2- rehearsal

Day 3- rehearsal

Day 4- shooting

Day 5 shooting

6 directors and 12 actors.
