DO YOU WANT TO BOOK YOUR AUDITIONS?

“If only someone would give me a chance, everything would change!”

A lot of actors get caught up with how to book auditions. They want to be prepared enough. To be fully memorized. To rehearse a lot. To make bold choices. To be relaxed and not be nervous. These are all logical solutions because actors want to be good.

And many actors feel rejection if they don’t audition or book the job from the audition.

None of this is what made you want to be an actor in the first place. You became an actor to experience the life of a character and defend them.

When you watch my training below you'll discover what’s really behind why you are not auditioning.

Not auditioning or booking the audition is a consequence of you approaching your auditions like a sales pitch‼️‼️‼

If you make your job about people hiring and paying you, when you try to book, you’re preoccupied with selling, not the actual job.

Your job as an actor is to defend the character.

Your job is not to relax.🚫 Not to be confident.🚫 Not to make bold choices.🚫 Not to memorize lines.🚫

Your job is to take care of the character’s needs. The paradox is the instant you’re concerned with your character’s needs and not your ego’s needs, then you book.🔮

Your job is to have an instrument that is so free that it can feel whatever it feels and therefore is able to be given over completely to a character.

Your character has needs. They have their own life. They want something. They need 100% of your full attention and presence.💯

This means you need to be completely unblocked, open and present to be totally available to show up for them.

In a way an audition is not about you because you’re not there for you. You’re there for a character and the only way to be there for your character is to have a free instrument that serves the character.

What happens when you do that, is that you’re gonna book the audition AND the things you’re not audiitoning for. 💫 Casting directors want to see authenticity and full presence. They hunt down actors like this because they’re rare. They don’t see it often because everyone is trying to be “good” and be like everyone else.

Your biggest power is already within yourself and there’s nothing to improve. All you need to do is undo what's in the way.
