As actors, you may feel unsure about your agent and the kind of auditions he or she is getting you or even unhappy with them and the fact that you don’t communicate with them in an open and constructive way. You might also feel scared of considering changing and finding someone that’s not as good or that’s less good.
Likewise, you may not have an agent and in order to get one, you may have heard you need to get more professional headshots; have a reel and some credits; get a referral; or go to a lot of showcases. And, at the same time, it sounds like you need to get an agent in order to do all those things.
So you might feel frustrated about the fact that you want to be there for the characters and stories you resonate with, you want to be seen and share your talent, you feel ready to go; and yet, you’re stuck because you don’t have an agent or you’re not sure about the team that you have right now.
When you start looking for an agent, you might find that there are not many agents in your country; that you need to be part of a Union, come from a specific acting school or have some credits. You may also think that they won’t represent you since they’ve never heard of you. And you may experience that after renewing your headshots and reel, having spent a lot of money on them and having sent them some emails, you never heard back. Therefore, you may feel very disempowered and frustrated about that, like there’s nothing you can do because that’s the way the industry works. .
However, When you watch my training below you will discover that the main reason that you don’t have an agent or that you have one that doesn’t work for you is because your instrument is not completely free and instinctive and the system you use to approach the business side of acting is not 100% down. If you don't know how to go about that, you will not have the agent you deserve to get you the roles, the auditions that you wanna have. Similarly, if you don’t show up as the free, present, open, authentic version of yourself in your auditions or marketing materials, you won’t book or get the agent that matches your unique talent.
