As actors, you may think there’s a lot to do to succeed in your career. First, in the traditional approach to acting, you’re told that you need to learn a method or technique that will make you do it “right”. Then, you’re also told that in order to actually book work and get success you need to train with the best mentors for so many years; get your headshots, reel and team in place; get an agent; go to auditions and callbacks; network, etc.
But by doing all these actions, you’re allowing the industry to dictate how you need to do things. Inevitably, after a certain time, you may end up being completely overwhelmed because that’s a lot to do. And it won’t fulfill you either because it has nothing to do with your art. If you just care about the business part of acting and you're not 100% present, authentic, unique, you have nothing to sell. You have no business.
When you watch my training you'll discover that the way for you to be successful in the industry without getting overwhelmed is not to spend all your time on the business side of things and run to do everything, but to invest in yourself and take care of your instrument so you make sure that whenever a big opportunity shows up, you’re able to be ready, completely free and open, no matter the difficulty or the pressure.
When you’re able to show up 100% present, free, instinctive, authentic and unique like only you can; you become magnetic. That flips the rules of the game in the industry and impacts the way you show up in your auditions, casting director workshops, meeting with a manager, etc. People will want to work with you again. Even if you don’t match the role description, they’ll recast you in something else; write you bigger lines or longer parts; change your gender, race, age or accent because you’re coming in with the hot commodity that everyone’s looking for: your freedom, authenticity and presence. That’s what moves an audience, a director or casting director. When you can come in that way and give that to your moment, to your character, to what your character needs, people will hunt you down. Then, you’ll find success in your acting career.
