As actors, you may have felt that this year you didn’t get enough work or auditions, your projects got cancelled, you didn’t get enough money from acting, you didn’t feel right when you were defending a character or maybe you didn’t do all the things you wanted to do in order to show up fully you in 2021 after having invested a lot of time, money and hope in your acting career.
As a result of this, you may be complaining a lot, feeling frustration and disappointment, comparing yourself to others, hoping that things go differently or wishing that the industry or your chances change next year. So you might be sitting in a lot of wishful thinking when emotions are big. But when you're in the middle of those big frustrated and angry emotions without taking any actions, you're not being your professional self.

In short, you want to assess where you're at right now and where you wanna be, without making any judgements, but just to have that truth in front of you.
After looking at your current situation, analyzing the root causes of why you didn’t get the results you wanted and how you can show up in a different way, then you will be able to take responsibility and know the type of decisions you want to make in order to get the opportunities that you want and, therefore, feel more empowered in 2022.
