When it comes to training, you may want to be in a studio, network with other people and have a teacher look at your work. However, all these things are outside of you. And as an actor, you should focus just on you since what you’re selling is your capacity to be 100% alive, free, unique, present and instinctively you. Online training provides you with the possibility of training your instrument, transforming yourself, being fulfilled and impacting an audience.
Also, online training provides the potential to rewire you. In order for you to change a habit or pattern, you need to give your neural pathways at least 25 days. That means you need to show up for your training every single day for at least those 25 days. That’s why the work we do with actors lasts 33 days because we make sure that you transform radically so that you can be 100% alive, unique and in the moment. And because it’s online, even if you have life obligations (family, work, hobbies, etc), you are able to show up every day at a time that works for you with no excuses. However, training in an acting class cannot adapt to your schedule.
When you watch my training below you will discover that another huge thing about the online training that we do with actors is that it’s not dependent on any teacher or external authority. We just help them remember what being free as yourself is so they can recover their own power and become self-reliant. And when actors depend on a teacher to tell them whether they’re doing their scene right or wrong, they have zero power. Inevitably, these actors will feel lost on set or in a last-minute audition without a coach to help them.
Besides, online training is way cheaper than going to traditional outdoor training because there is less infrastructure and you spend less time in it, since you don’t need to watch other actors act or listen to a teacher tell them how to do it.
Another incredible thing about our online training is the quality of people you engage with. In our community, actors are really authentic and don’t compare with each other. They work together online but they also meet in person and create projects together. So the fact that it’s online does not restrict you from connecting with others.
