Feeling like you aren't good enough?

Is self-doubt affecting your auditions?

When actors start working with me, one of the most common concerns I hear is the feeling of not being good enough.

This doubt can creep up before you go to an audition, during the actual audition, or even after it's over.

The experience goes something like, "I'm not as good as so-and-so," or "I'm not capable of delivering this extreme emotion." Or in the moment, when you're in the audition room, maybe the way a casting director looks at you (or doesn't look at you) casts doubts in your mind.

And let's face it: when you don't feel 100% in the audition room, you'll probably walk away feeling like you're not good enough too.

When you watch my free training, you’ll discover…

  1. The worst part about not feeling good enough is that it diminishes your capacity to be open, to be present, and to be fully alive. When you don't feel good enough, your instrument shrinks and your mind shifts outside of the current moment. You're no longer being your character or focused on their needs. You're just trying to stop that uncomfortable feeling of being "less than".

  2. The reason you're behaving like this - trying to run away instead of staying in the present moment - is because you have been wired by your parents, school, society, etc. to believe that there is a right way and a wrong way to do something. News flash: there isn't.

And if right and wrong, good and bad don't exist, what does that say about the concept of not being good enough? (Psst - I tell you in the video.)

  1. The first step to take when you catch yourself believing that “you are not good enough” lie.

  2. My advice for the next time you feel this particular doubt creeping in before, during or after your next audition.

Watch the full training below, and get ready to unplug from the Matrix. (Don’t worry, I’ll explain everything.) ;)

After you watch the training, let's connect in our private Facebook Group. Let me know how you struggle with not feeling good enough, and we'll address how this different way of thinking can help your specific situation.
