Then the nerves kick in... and the sheer terror of screwing up not just the audition but your opportunity and your reputation with the casting office and the director. Ooof!
And everything is new and moving very fast. With an opportunity this big, you’d probably meet the director straight away and maybe even need to read with a known actor.
That's a lot going on, and it can start to mess with your mind, having all those emotions and thoughts at once.
